10th Annual Banquet Celebrates Community Leaders & Vision for Growth

The Lee County 4th District Community Development Group hosted its 10th Annual Banquet on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Springhill Baptist Association Building in Tupelo, MS. The evening celebrated a decade of service and honored local changemakers, including Mrs. Lucille Agnew, Mr. Willie T. Ivy, and Dr. Debbie Jones.

Keynote speaker Attorney Kenneth Mayfield inspired attendees with his powerful message on civil rights, justice, and community empowerment. Guests enjoyed live music, fellowship, and a shared commitment to building two new community centers in Shannon and Palmetto.

“This event was a beautiful reminder that when we work together, we can transform lives,” said Rev. David Walker, President of the organization.
